How to Drink Soup

Hey, everyone. How are you? I know that if you are feeling uncertain, panicked, or feeling like you cannot stop the world from spinning, it is fine. I feel like that, too.

I’m going to be completely open with you guys. I have been feeling quite overwhelmed lately and at the same time I have felt insufficient. I have been feeling like I have been in competition with myself for a long time. A version of who I am now and who I envision I will be in the future–more of who I envision I should be in the future.

There are times I walk around and feel my chest tighten or my shoulders hunch over. It feels like a little bit of my power is taken away, but when I notice it I have decided to stand up straighter and pull my shoulders back. The act is small, but symbolic of opening myself up to the world, to possibilities, and to love and connection with God, the universe, the higher state.

If you are feeling uncertain about your future, about the millions of options that lay ahead of you regarding your career, moving up into a management position, quitting your job, or going back to school, the answer is out there. I have been reading quite a few books about ‘accessing the field’ which helped me come to this conclusion.

I’m assuming a large portion of my followers are interested in spirituality and if not, that is okay! If this part does not interest you or resonate with you, please feel free to read another post or zip through. That is totally okay! 🙂

A concept that I’ve learned and am learning more about is accessing information that’s within the field. The idea is that we live in a soup of information and if we want an answer within that soup of information all we have to do is stand here, ask a question, and the answer will come to us. Think of it this way. When you sit down and drink soup, you grab the spoon, dip it into the bowl, and the spoon transfers the soup into your mouth, right? You don’t dunk your face into the bowl. (I literally laughed out loud.) However, jokes aside, this is all based on quantum physics. Unfortunately, I do not fully understand this yet, but I am working on it.

Seriously, that’s the best way I can describe it. Deepak Chopra describes this in his book Metareality. When you want to find the answer to a question regarding any topic like penguins for example, you don’t go to Antarctica to learn about them, it comes to you once you google it. How? You take your little fingers and type it into a search engine while the computer accesses the electronic cloud of information. It’s connect through Wi-Fi. That’s the analogy he uses, which I tweaked a little bit.

The wild part is we all do it everyday, but it seems so trivial that we ignore it. You ever forget something and then like 1 hour later remember what it is randomly? That’s you accessing the field. You ever hear of people who are highly intuitive? They’re accessing the field.

I know it sounds wild, but it really works. Try it with something small first. Here’s an example of what I did yesterday. I couldn’t remember of a Youtube channel I used to watch over four years ago. I don’t follow this person on social media. I was like, okay, let me try to access the field. I asked ‘What’s the name of this person?’ I envisioned a clip of the video that I last remember watching by this person. I sat there and not a single thought ran through my mind, but I set the intention “I know the answer is out there, I know it will come to me. It has already popped into my mind.” Then a soft, gentle voice gave me a random name. I typed it into Youtube and there it is was! Turns out this person changed their youtube handle, but I still found them.

That’s a small example. Theoretically, you can find the answer to any question you ask. Any one, all it depends on is how receptive you are to the field. How do you become receptive? Sit still, clear your mind, and set the intention the answer has come to you, and if it doesn’t come to you in 10 minutes then do something else. It’s like when you cannot remember something that’s on the tip of your tongue and then remembering it later. Try it and see how it works.

That’s where meditation comes into play and developing your intuition, however, that’s another topic for another time.

Let me know if this topic interested you and if you’d like me to share more information regarding any of these things. Also, let me know if you’d be more interested in listening to me talk about these topics over a podcast or on a Youtube channel!

I’ve been contemplating starting a Youtube Channel, however, I am a bit hesitant. Let me know though!

As always be kind to everyone you meet. Be a little patient with yourself and others. You lose nothing by being kind.

Love

Stephanie
